Sinjin is his middle name Wrong....his name middle name is St. John and his little brother couldn't pronounce it and called him "Sinjin"...it's a nickname...not his given name. I heard Marlowe say that a bunch of times, so maybe his family arrived at the correct pronunciation the wrong way.

Some of the greatest nicknames came from the 60's.
The Condor Dennis Duggan who's arms were so long he wore a 39 inch sleeve.
Telstar John Taylor nicknamed by the Russians from the USA vs. Russia matches
Tazmanian Devil Rudy Suwara If you know Rudy, you know how well this name fits.
Fatty What Gene Selznick called Ron Lang during the matches

"Baby Brahma". Dick Irvin a 6'2" strong as a bull UCLA outside and solid beach player. Just hit a ridiculously heavy ball. His younger brother was also a starting UCLA middle and his nephew Steve Irvin just wrapped up a great career at Stanford...

The Professor Turtle Desert Sand Shark Mookie Cookiepuss JHo to the Izzo Not sure how Geeter would have been left off this thread, and I won't even comment that the Gr8One's name was mentioned either

Son of Jor-el is still my favorite. I also liked "The Kid". If you know who that was, you're way too old. "Flipper" is another good one. I don't remember Pat Powers being called "Peepers", but I've forgotten a lot of things. Always hated "Thin Beast".
