So, US blowing their chance of winning the World Cup certainly dampened my interest in the remainder of the matches. But my interest in volleyball is not limited to my home country. There is still another match to watch tomorrow, China vs Russia.
If Russia wins the match against China, they will pretty much secure their championship, with Serbia second (I think-someone correct me if I'm wrong). If China wins, they still have to go against Japan, and it won't be easy for China given the home court advantage of Japan.
I think Russia should have the advantage. China is still unstable and inexperienced. They can't capitalize on their opportunities and can choke. Of course, I've been proven wrong with the US vs Russia match, so I suppose China does have the ability to win.
So, who do you think will win?

I think if Russia maintains any level of interest in the match (i.e. no big emotional let-down), they win fairly easily. Russia appears to have shored up its serve receive enough to give their outsides plenty of hittable balls to keep them in just about any match right now.
