I think that maybe was someone hearing something and confusing last name Bailey and first name Bailee. As far as I know, Bre is at home in Utah for now. It's possible she could start at the University of Utah in October as they have half semester classes... just a possibility - not actually making any guesses. John Tawa was the source. But you have to be a prepvolleyball subscriber to see the story. I can't imagine he would publish something like that without verifiable information. I have seen nothing since the two articles that covered her exit from the ASU program. Don't be so sure! All the rules of professional journalism left this country with the advent of the Internet! I'm guessing you are longing for the days of Edward Murrow and Walter Cronkite. I can personally vouch that PVB and JT are not immune to this phenomenon. I don't think they do it on purpose or maliciously but you are kidding yourself if you think they verify and corroberate sources. They hear it or read it ... They print it!

Immuned? Cooberated? What does this mean? Thanks English professor! Auto correct and just not spending more than 5 seconds reviewing my wisdom got me! So thankful to have such narcissistic intellectuals trolling around! Please continue on your ground breaking campaign of the proper usage of the words "can" and "may" and any other literary corrections you spot. We are all so very grateful and it adds so much value to the board and the topic. You should be so proud! That's a point for you! Btw genius...what does this mean ? gopherfan said: I think that maybe was someone hearing something and confusing last name Bailey and first name Bailee. Why don't you ask your fellow gopher that question? Now, I as a reasonable poster, can make his words in his post work and not feel compelled to correct a sentence for grammatical discourse. You however, can't take a "d" off of immuned (actually some common word dictionaries recognize the d) or recognize a clear spelling/auto correct error/mistake in cooberate versus corroberate! Thanks for your effort and for staying on topic.

Prep's college coverage hasn't really been all that accurate. In one of the articles about the Nike Challenge, they kept on talking about Joslyn Hayes' huge impact in the middle, despite her not playing a single point in the middle that weekend. What's worse is the article included a quote from CU's coach talking about the middles where he names the girls actually playing the position.

Your entire post was chiding JT for not checking his work and being unprofessional, yet your own words were unreviewed and full of mistakes. At the very least the irony justified gopherguy's post more than his justified your sarcastic counter-attack.

At the very least the irony justified gopherguy's post more than his justified your sarcastic counter-attack. You completely misread my post. I said that they do not do those things on purpose or maliciously. So your facts are incorrect. My "entire post" was certainly not "chiding JT". But because of the nature of the beast, and today's world of quick journalism, they do not verify sources or facts. I can vouch for this personally. As a matter of fact, c4ndle's post right before your incredible insight into the topic at hand, clearly spells out an example of exactly what I am talking about. And I'm a poster on a message board giving some personal insight into the topic at hand. I'm not a professional journalist held to a standard that would require review and void of mistakes. But thankfully there are geniuses like you and gopher that can keep the rest of us in line. And while, I know you guys are both just posting in good fun, it should be noted that my grammatical inadequacies should not be some kind of counter point to the original topic. Which was someone doubting that PVB would print something without verifying its validity. I love JT and Chris's work...my only point (which I exaggerated for effect or affect...haha) was they don't have the time or resources to verify such things in today's world of journalism and readers should take that under consideration. The original poster seemed convinced that they would never report anything without verifying its validity, multiple times over. My simple (I thought) retort to that was "don't be so sure"!

As a narcissistic intellectual, I feel the need to point out that it’s “corroborate”. Please forgive the trolling, Artie. I usually try to limit myself to volleyball related topics. I’m not sure what got into me this morning. And also, for hijacking the thread. Back to transfers.

Back to transfers indeed, Pepperdine beach team added three grad students to their program. Already mentioned was Brittany Howard (Stanford) and now adding Tiffany Morales (Michigan) and Katty Workman (Boston College)

Any idea where BreElle Bailey will land? I assume BYU is the obvious choice? All the way across the country at NC State.
