Wake Forest hired
Iona seems to have made a choice, but no official announcement
Savannah St seems to be going no where fast
Oregon St seems to be ripe to promote assistant, but again, nothing official
Any thoughts / updates on these?

Nice girl. I guess this ends her international career. She's on the list of players available for the grand prix. Not sure I expect her to play with that team but I hope she's allowed to finish out the season because unless I'm mistaken, we can't take her off and put someone else on at this point. |

Winthrop lost two good coaches - a setter coach and a defensive specialist coach. They hired an assistant coach who was a former head coach from a lower level, but I am not sure of his area of specialty. They lost a lot of athletes in the last couple of years so they are kind of starting over...again.

They lost a lot of athletes in the last couple of years so they are kind of starting over...again. He was his former assistant at Towson. New AD at Winthrop. School has really dropped off athletically and they forced AD to retire earlier than he wanted. I suspect volleyball and perhaps one or two other sports to have changes at the end of this coming year. |
