Nice girl. I guess this ends her international career. She's on the list of players available for the grand prix. Not sure I expect her to play with that team but I hope she's allowed to finish out the season because unless I'm mistaken, we can't take her off and put someone else on at this point. Great player, great girl, and will be a great coach. That Stanford staff knows a thing or two! |

Great player, great girl, and will be a great coach. That Stanford staff knows a thing or two! One of the few who took on many roles for her collegiate team. Sure hope this isn't the end of her playing career. She was one of the athletes who epitomized work ethic, selflessness and "team before i". Want to see more of that. |

With Dowling closing, any idea where the head coach is going? If Iona didn't already have an interim listed, it probably would have been a good fit for Kevin to go there as he and Mr. Cole work together at Long Island Volleyball Academy volleyball club. |

There are several athletes on the WGP 22-player preliminary roster that are no longer in the gym. Doesn't hurt Team USA whatsoever. |

Supposedly Iona has hired and if what I was told is true, they did hire an Academy coach, but no it was not the Dowling coach.

Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, CO is looking for a full time DII women's assistant to coach in the RMAC. 30K+benifits. Some admin. duties with bball games etc. but mostly just working in the program.
The job and job description is not currently listed on our site. For now just send me, Keven John/Head Coach, your resume, cover letter, and references (3-5 will be fine)
I would like he crux of the letter to cover what you believe the role of an assistant should be and your coaching philosophy. I don't mind if it also tells me you love to ski or your aunt lives in Gunnison. As my former assistant would say, listen to your heart.
Hiring will likely move quickly. Thanks everyone, I am pretty much a novice here so hopefully I am following protocol enough for this not to earn some sort of flag/banishment.

Quite a varied coaching resume. Different schools, levels, conferences etc. Don't know a lot about him but hope he does well. Interesting he was a trainer in the Tigers organization....always a plus to have that background when coaching. |
