The other day near our court I saw this
The guy who was using it was out in the water surfing, and it was tracking him the entire time. When I saw him packing up I asked him a couple questions, but I guess it started as a way to film yourself surfing and now people utilize for all types of other sports/activities. It is called SOLOSHOT, has anyone else seen these out on the beaches or any indoor? Seems like a cool way to get footage of yourself to review and get better.
Cheers!

Looks pretty cool, would be really interesting to see how accurate it is staying focused on the target if there are crowds around

Shouldn't matter if there are crowds. I've never seen it before, but I sent the link to a couple of beach coaches - they seem pretty intrigued by it.

Was checking out the website (www.soloshot.com) The athlete wears the "Tag" which you can control start/stop recording from. Another cool feature I found out was it can follow multiple athletes wearing the Tag based on who is closest to the camera, moving the fastest, or call mode by hitting a button on the Tag.
Something I think I'm going to pick up for my training sessions, as well as my surfing.

Things have come a long way from the days of having Dane Selznick asking me to watch the camera for him

Been around about a year I think? Another early product is at hexoplus.com, but it's way more complex. (flying drone that tracks you).
