• Feel the need for speed? Former National Football League player Rich Miano, University of Hawai'i conditioning coach Mel deLaura and several former Warrior football players and Rainbow Wahine volleyball players will be the featured instructors at this weekend's Hawai'i Speed & Quickness clinics at UH's Cooke Field.
The $10 fee covers a two-hour training session, refreshments and snacks.
There are sessions tomorrow and Sunday. Ages 8-12 will train from 10 a.m.-noon; 13-older train from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
