I don't recall the last time a player who got Pac-10 POW was on a team that split their matches, but that 36 kills in 4 games against UCLA was impressive.[/quote]
Losing to the number 2 team and beating the number 10 team isn't a bad split, though. Of the Pac-10 teams playing two matches last week, only Arizona did better than split them, and they played the Oregon schools. I think the Pac-10 recognized that Oganna was also quite impressive against USC (e.g. 24 kills). A quote from its site:
"For the weekend, Nnamani recorded 60 kills (7.50 kpg) and 23 digs (2.88 dpg) with a .323 hitting percentage. The 36 kills and 37.5 points she collected against UCLA were also the most recorded in any match by a Pac-10 volleyball player in 2004."

Hey BearClause. I guess you forget about Jen last year. Not only did she get Pac10 POW after their split with Cal & Stanford, she was also NPOW that same week.

Hey BearClause. I guess you forget about Jen last year. Not only did she get Pac10 POW after their split with Cal & Stanford, she was also NPOW that same week. I do now that you reminded me. I remember the same for Mia in 2002 when she had 38 and 39 kill nights in a split (two five-gamers) against Washington and WSU.
