It's official, four US pairs qualified for the Rio Olympics. Kessy/Day and Hyden/Bourne gave it a good run. Predictions: Kerri/April: Gold Phil/Nick: Gold Jake/Casey: 5th (again) Brooke/Lauren: Knocked out soon after advancing from pool play.

I feel like Lauren and Brooke would need a fortunate draw to get out of pool play. They'll be the third seed in their pool and other third seeds around them have been playing much better for the 3rd place matches deciding who makes the bracket. I don't think they're a top 16 team right now. Does anyone know if seedings based off of current rankings are set in stone? If that's the case Fendi/Sweat would be in the same pool with WalRoss and Kolosinska/Brstozek and a team that qualifies through the continental cup. The Olympics may have some real against teams from the same country being in the same pool.

Love Jen Kessy but they did not give it a good run, they stunk up the world tour all year. In fact they almost gave it the worst possible run given their seeding. 4 9ths, 4 17ths and 2 25ths are just showing up numbers. I like your predictions. I can't think of one that doesn't seem likelier than any other possible outcome for that team.

Imagine Kerri/April playing Brooke/Lauren if Kerri/April have first place in pool locked up. a lot of teams in that situation would help their countrymen out with a few points or a win. (not saying Kerri/April would, but)

The men's teams are too deep and talented to make a prediction. But I think USA & Brazil with both Medal.
