Netherlands forces 5. Takes at least 1 point. Italy does not like this result.

The soccer is the bigger event for me anyway. It's my fav team to watch. Always has been. As far as today think the soccer will be the more entertaining matchup. Worlds number 1 vs number 3 in matchup. Def the best match in qualifiers that there will be. At this point is just all about seedings for knockout round but make no mistake, USA vs France is a heavyweight matchup.

Does the challenge system REALLY need to take THIS long?? In tennis it's damn near immediate

Ok, every event streaming may be a bad idea. I just spent 30 mins watching fencing. Every time you learn a new rule in a new sport, drink!

Does the challenge system REALLY need to take THIS long?? In tennis it's damn near immediate Yes, since volleyball challenges have so many more variables. In tennis, it's only "in or out". In vb, it's that plus block touch, net touch, centerline, foot fault (if applicable), etc. Hence you need a tablet app just to select which subtype of challenge you mean. And the replay system actually has different high-speed camera angles for each of these things. (N.B. tennis has no camera replays , which is why Hawkeye shows only the computer graphics replay of the shot bounce, and never shows live replays of racquets and fingers.) So the 3-person challenge crew are scampering like mice under a hawk, to locate that camera, rewind it to this snippet, screencap it, and then actually look at it and make a decision. Try it in real-time with your own stream-recording app and a video editor, and you can race the replay crew.
