Well that was quick. Ngapeth was a disaster and the coaches didn't take any action. I would have changed out the setter as well. Nobody hit well for France. Italy played well!

Italy outhit France 0.473 to 0.093. That is staggering.
N'Gapeth hit -0.095. As bad as that is, I am not sure Tille felt someone like Clevenot or Marechal would bring the wild-card factor needed to get them back into the match.
Lanza was the factor that Italy needed, and Juantorena didn't look too old/beat up. Zaytsev was surprisingly consistent, but Vettori is a very capable backup if needed.

Rossard looked good for France.
Giannelli is my 2nd favorite setter behind Christensen. Kid is just amazing.
