China leading 20-17 and Ortolani comes in and replaces Sylla as an OH.

Egonu is just so inconsistent. She must have committed more than 5 attacking errors on this set alone. I wish Centoni comes in.. I love the fire on that player!!

China takes the 1st set -21
China didn't played well on that set, its just that Italy and Egonu committed a lot of errors. And Orro's setting is suspect again. De Gennaro is the only bright spot for Italy on that set. She's a top libero!

Lo Bianco starting for Italy in the 2nd set. China leading 6-3. Always been a fan of Lo Bianco. With Orro's location issues, it's nice to see her getting a crack. Don't mean to be tardy to the party, but where is Diouf? Injury? If so, who replaced her on the roster?

Diouf wasn't good enough atleast from the Coach's POV. She has to outplay Egonu, Ortolani, Centoni to take an Opp spot.
China still leading 15-13 after a monster hit from Egonu.

The italisns could be so good, just too many mistakes.... Ebnou will be a monster once she grows up... how old is she again?

Also, Lo Bianco is still so so good. No wonder coach had a hard time leaving her off the roster.

Diouf made the initial Olympic roster, then was texted a week or so before competition that she was replaced.
