I knew when that happened in London we were never going to hear the end of that in Rio lol.
Kerri/April looked mere mortal tonight, but I credit the Swiss for that. They started off horrendously but they really picked up their game midway through the first set. After seeing the pools, I kinda thought this would be their struggle match. The Swiss have pushed them in prior matches but never got a set. If Germany and Canada win tomorrow, I'm really liking their draw to the Gold Medal game. Still iffy if they can actually take down Brazil on home soil.

I am also sick of hearing the whispering in the ear story.

Lets put this the way it really is. Kerri is 46-1 with Misty in the Olympics. Kerri is 6-1 with April. Two different teams. I thought the Swiss played real good. With that said pretty sure they awakened a sleeping giant. On defense April showed the footspeed of either someone who was asleep or a giant. Scoring is more of a problem for them than it should be. Has anyone yet explain why April rarely his the hard jump serve anymore?

The wind in the Stadium Court apparently is swirling everywhere and pretty intense. That type of wind can really affect one's toss as opposed to having it in your face or your back.

I'm really sick of the Kerri-whispered-in-April's-ear story. yeah me too. i think the story actually reflects poorly on kerri. my immediate gut reaction to that nbc segment when i saw it the first time was that it was kinda disrespectful to ross's partner (kessy) at the time ... regardless of ross and kessy's plans/intentions following the london games ...

Have to agree that Ross has played well on D in the earlier matches with some very solid reads and gets - IMO.
