Did you know Kerri asked April immediately after their match in London to be her partner? Kerri is definitely the media darling. But she seems like a pretty awesome person, so I don't mind it too much. Doesn't seem to be causing any resentment with April (who also seems like a really nice person), so that's good. Can you imagine having Hope Solo as Kerri's partner???

Anyone else sick of the "here comes the boom" sound track playing every time someone gets a kill in both indoor and beach? And that awful block refrain they play. And the crummy music constantly repeated. During the Larissa match the crowd was insane, but the DJ still had to get his schlocky nonsense in so he started playing it over them rather than just letting a great atmosphere exist

They just mentioned during the telecast of the Germans beating the Swiss that the Swiss coach thinks the top 3 players in the world are Larissa, Ludwig and Kerri. April belongs in that conversation, but its so hard to judge between the 4 because of partners. Kerri and April have the strongest partners of the four, and Walkenhorst is much better than Talita, or at least has been. A better team would have beaten Larissa/Talita in their last match with how badly Talita played. Likewise I dont think Kerri is the optimal partner for April now or vice versa. Kerri with Laura or Larissa would possibly be better, but April with a different partner where she doesnt need to defer so much I think would also be better. Day to day, any given match I would probably place Kerri last of those 4 because it seems like she isnt always up for it anymore. In a one match for everything scenario I think I would go just the opposite and take Kerri first

Is Talita that weak? Wasn't she winning even with a mediocre Lima?

Is Talita that weak? Wasn't she winning even with a mediocre Lima? Talita is still a fantastic player. I don't think you would find much support among players on the World Tour that she is inferior to Walkenhorst - although to be fair, Walkenhorst has really improved her game over the last two seasons.

Would be interesting to see how Hope would deal with not being the center of attention.

She might get a little more support if the other players saw her take Sarah Pavan to the woodshed today. I thought Canada had a decent chance today and Germany murdered them. Can't wait for the next round

Talita has won too much, with too many different partners to be as bad as you're saying. Walkenhorst has maybe had a couple of good matches. I imagine a lot of people would struggle to show their best while playing with Larissa.
