Not Missy franklin but swimmer from Kazakhstan just won the men's 200m butterfly. That's like saying the Jamaican's have a bobsled team In what possible way is that anything remotely like a Jamaican bobsled team? You think they don't have water in Kazakhstan? Got something to say, say it here or privately, this is the second time today you have come at me. It was a joke, lighten the f^&% up

I have not "come at you" at all, much less twice.

What is wrong with Missy Franklin? Nothing. Her window just did not last very long.

On the CBUT coverage, they said she had a back injury. She is hurting, you can see it. She is finishing seconds behind in the heats tonight

Announcers have also said that since turning pro, she has a hard time turning anyone down when they ask her to make an appearance, whether for a charity or one of her sponsors,,and that has affected her training.

She injured her back in 2014 at a meet in Australia and hasn't been the same since. The lasting effects are still very evident on her starts from the wall. She's done well to even make the team to be honest. She doesn't want to cite her back woes to the media but her results before and after that injury speak for themselves. It was a sudden drop-off in performance that has never recovered. This is the injury: www.sportsnet.ca/more/exclusive-video-missy-franklin-hurt-in-training/

Maybe her problem is "Richard" (slang term for dick...boyfriend...fixated on a guy)? Who knows?
As a long time high school coach, I have seen some girl athletes really get distracted by a boyfriend/romantic relationship...especially if they haven't had a serious one before. Maybe Missy is going through this now.

Guys, it's already known in the swimming community that it's her back that's been the issue. Not boyfriends, promotional work, psychological problems, etc. Her times have been consistently below par (for her) since her injury in 2014.
