Someone from the remaining four teams is going to emerge as the Olympic MVP. From the USA Larson, Foluke, and Hill seem the most likely candidates. Adams would be a dark horse choice if she had two monster games.
Like in 2012, a non champion player could win the MVP. In that case is would probably fall to Sloetjes as she most single handedly leads her team.
From China, Ting Zhu is the obvious choice. But who can forget Hill out-dueling her in the fourth set at the WC in 2014.
Serbia has Mihajlovic and Boskovic, but I think one of these only if they take gold.
My bias is Hill, white hot for two games and a gold for the USA. Kumbaya you all as the Rio16 quad comes to its final completion.
In just four days Tokyo20 begins and the swirling controversies are just over the horizon.
