Sucks that Phil and Nick aren't playing tonight. They beat Italy who will win Gold or Silver....that match against Brazil, should have been for a medal...that's all.

Russia falls apart at the end and Dutch win first set 23-21. Russia was up 20-18 and Dutch scored 3 straight

Italy makes a come back and even briefly gets ahead, but a block by Alison finishes the game 21-19 Brazil.

Brazil was behind all of the second set until now. Up 15-14
Then, Alison gets a block on Lupo, 16-14

Whoever the woman commentator on the match was getting very upset at the refs for making the correct call. Lupo called the challenge mid play but they didn't stop playing and the Italians ended up winning it. They then looked at the challenge and it was unsuccessful so the brazilians got the point.
Correct call by the refs but I don't like the rule that you have to call it mid play.

Brazil gets the gold medal. Lupo called for a double touch into an Alison block, not sure it was, but game ends there 21-17
EDIT: After the replay a few times, it looks like he did hit it twice.
Brazil 15-5 on digs. Bruno is so much better than the other defenders out there.
