Gut check for the USA. Down by 2 sets. Not looking good.

Jaeschke in and served off the court and quickly out. It is interesting hearing that Sanders was the best receiver in the whole tournament and by far the best on the team. Interesting because all I read on this website is that he is terrible.

When Jaeschke shanked the float serve he passed it high to the middle of the court, when Sander shanked the same serve it went high 10 feet behind the back line.
Priddy passing dimes, hitting around 600, and a service bomb.

Any idea why the 7-footer Musersky is not in this Russian team?

Interesting because all I read on this website is that he is terrible. People here have an irrational thing against Sander. They don't show passing stats on the broadcast... Ergo people here are terrible.

Any idea why the 7-footer Musersky is not in this Russian team? Injured. I thought due to doping.

Priddy passing dimes, hitting around 600, and a service bomb. Yet statistics say Sander is the best receiver in the Olympics. I will go side with statistics and Speraw in knowing who is the player that should be on the court.

How is Russia more "up" for this match? Are there "consequences" if they are not?

I will go side with statistics and Speraw in knowing who is the player that should be on the court. That's because everyone's been targeting Russell as they should have. If Priddy had been playing instead of Russell Sander's numbers would've gone way down. Sander's a volleybro, that's obvious, he'll never have ball control intelligence of a Murilo, Priddy, or Tetyukhin.

Russia's passing and defense in this match is simply outstanding.
If only their women counterpart can pass like this too.
