Here is my final bracket prediction. I'm most nervous about Illinois as far as in-or-out, and I feel like the seed ordering from 4-11 could be very malleable. Like many have noted, we don't have precedent for how the Committee will work in a Top-4 host, but I just think Wisconsin's profile is too good to pass up. I also realized that Western Kentucky is 403 miles from Mizzou on the NCAA mileage tracker, making them an obligate flyer if Kentucky isn't hosting (and they really shouldn't). I didn't really know what to do with that so I kept them at Mizzou. If Illinois doesn't get in, you'll see Purdue drive in to Columbia instead, and WKU could fly anywhere. With Texas getting a Top 4 seed, I'm probably off by a bit. I had them at 6. I always had a hard time getting Kansas past Texas - but sort of surprised that they didn't go with Washington. Pac 12 champs and some geography advantages. They may be literally going with their process in determining order (best team) or they were influenced by the Friday morning RPI. We may get a clue if it is the second one when we see the rest of the seeds.

But Kansas was outright champion and could match their big wins. Clearly OOC SOS became a factor.

May not have been much difference in the ranking, but the actual RPI rating difference was very large. I wouldn't think they would look at that - but maybe they did. I mean, in terms of RPI - it wasn't close, those were the 4 best teams by a mile.

Blinders and crutches. Expecting Washington to Lincoln, again, and Hawaii to Seattle, again.

EMPHASIS ON CHALLENGING YOURSELF IN THE NONCONFERENCE.
They do it every year. Teams always cry that they tried and you don't know who's going to be good or opponents bailed on them. Texas does it consistently. Washington decided to fly east to try to boost their RPI and played American and James Madison. That doesn't go over well with the committee. Kansas also scheduled super easy.

Penn State gets the 16th seed. Not sure they should have. To make it easy to drive in teams, and save their money for lots of expensive tickets to Minnesota.
