Semi-finals set for Saturday, Aug. 7/04

4PM: USA vs. Puerto Rico

6PM: Canada vs. Dominican Republic

Was surprised that Cuba was beaten by Puerto Rico earlier this evening. Cuba will be going against Mexico for 5th and 6th spots.

I'd love to see a Canada vs. USA finals on Sunday. Maybe then we'll get this match televised, even on a delayed broadcast!

Canada will meet Puerto Rico at 12 Noon on Sunday, Aug 8th.

USA and the Dominican Republic will go for the gold at 4PM, after the USA - Cuba Men's Final.

I'm sad, it would have been nice to see Canada play in the gold medal match, but it wasn't meant to be, after getting swept in 3 games by the Dominican Republic earlier today.
