Yes, same Hatcher. And yes. Interesting. Isn't she on the Lexington United 2s team?

Interesting. Isn't she on the Lexington United 2s team? Wasn't sure about which team she was on so I had to look. Is that considered a "true" 2s team when it said 87s meaning they had 17 year old kids on there? There are some decent D1 recruits on there so not sure how they separated the two teams. Michigan State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, JMU. The other middle is a soph who was on the Jr national team as a freshman. Two of these girls were Prep Volleyball Top 100 seniors as well. Seems a little strange to have (2) 18s teams like that. Didn't really look at the other team, but I think they have a Penn State recruit in the middle? These LexU teams are more like 1A and 1B. 87 has arguably more talent but, as mentioned, younger players are the norm. Hatcher and I believe a couple others came from last year's 17-1 team. Hatcher was the premier player in Clemson signing class and a big loss IMHO. And LexU 18-1 still has plenty of gifted D1 players. Both teams are Top 50 teams at 18 Open level this season. I'm do not have any inside knowledge of why they formatted the teams that way other than to indoctrinate some of their young studs in the 18's world a couple years early.

Sam Anthon, UWGB OH, Soph is no longer listed on the UWGB roster and did not participate in spring scrimmages. According to people I have spoken with she is focusing on school and leaving volleyball.

Morgan Kath -- setter -- from Stony Brook to Mississippi State (per Rich Kern) That's kind of shocking, Stony brook did not do well in the American East this year but Miss St already has a nice setter in Blossom Sato. Unless they run a 6-2 I don't see Kath beating her out for floor time

Is Sarah Sponcil to UCLA confirmed? Where did you hear this? Last I heard, which was pretty recently, LMU had not given her a release. Things can always change, of course.

Although there is another Power Five program in L.A. (that also happens to have the best beach program in the country) who I'm sure would like to have a chat or two with her.

Is she planning to go beach only if she goes to UCLA? I'm not even sure if UCLA has any scholarships available.

No, I don't believe so, at either school.

I think UCLA still have one scholie available for indoor Ryann Chandler's early graduation would seem to leave UCLA with an open scholarship.
