I think this regional is a lot tougher than people are giving it credit for.
Texas is Texas Kansas is Kansas BYU is salty. Win over OSU in Columbus, Sweep of Missouri at a neutral site, Sweep of San Diego. Michigan has wins over K-State, Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan State. Creighton hasn't lost in more than two months, and only lost 5 sets since the Nebraska match. Oregon has a rather one sided sweep of Washington in Seattle.
I don't think this is a gimme region.

Sorry Kansas - the committee did you dirty imo.
Make Kansas a 6 seed or Texas the 5 seed and Kansas the 4. No reason an outright conference champ, with 1 fewer loss, should have to go to the #2 team in their conference for an elite 8 berth.
But at least Kansas knows to schedule a little tougher OOC next year.

But at least Kansas knows to schedule a little tougher OOC next year. I should clarify my last statement. Obviously I meant an Elite Eight match for a spot in the Final Four. Also in terms of the OOC schedule, that's seemingly why the committee went this route, BUT... I don't find it to be logical enough reasoning to justify sending an outright conference champ to the #2 team in their conference. Doesn't seem just/right/fair/reasonable/decent/insert adjective here. I'm ok with Texas getting a higher seed because of the OOC edge, but c'mon this is messed up.

This bracket is going to have some fireworks:
Texas will get past Texas A&M, but Stephanie Aiple will make it harder than we think. It's a 5 setter, but the home court pulls the Horns through.
BYU and Utah will engage in a straight war. Utah won in Provo in 5 earlier this year. It goes 5 again, but McKenna Miller outslugs Adora Anae, and BYU gets to one of America's great party towns.
Michigan has earned the right to host, but Jim Moore has been here before. Lindsey Vander Weide catches fire, and the Ducks fly south
They'll see some more birds once they get there...real ones, not fictional ones. Creighton takes advantage of not being sent to Lincoln, and upsets kansas.
This is the regional where I can easily see all 4 seeds losing...I don't think it happens, but it could.
