Fun fact: BYU, Utah, and UNLV all used to be in the MW together and now they're in the same sub-region. I think it would have been fun if they put Colorado State in place of UNLV, since those three would always battle it out for the conference crown.

Rematches from the regular season are typically tougher in the tourney. A&M has seen Texas across the net this season; that has not been the case in past sub-regionals. A&M was leading early in the first set, but lots of teams jumped on Texas early this season. Not sure how good SMU is, but A&M will deal with them first; will probably be tough for them to not think ahead to Texas, but they will need to focus on SMU. No, I definitely agree with you. The Ags have nothing to lose so they'll come out swinging. I haven't really watched many of their matches although I did catch some of their final match against LSU. Couldn't really believe that allowed them to take a set as LSU did not look good at all. How do they match up against SMU? When LSU won that set against A&M it was when our backup setter and OH were in the game (along with another backup). All 3 of them are seniors so Coach Corbelli wanted to get them some court time. I think A&M will beat SMU, but the Mustangs are receiving votes in the poll, and SMU will be very motivated to beat the Aggies. If A&M wins and plays Texas I think it can be close. We did lose in 3 sets earlier this year, but our starting setter (Aiple) got hurt that game, and our middles weren't producing as well as they are now (and we weren't serving or passing as well). A&M has definitely progressed, but so has most teams in the tournament (including Texas). It'll take our best effort to beat Texas, but I think they can do it. But let's get past SMU first!

I don't see how Texas doesn't win this region (most favorable of the four).

My on-screen schedule still says swimming...I hope this isn't just online via ESPN. For some reason Time Warner Cable in my area offers LHN on TV but not online. Stinks.

I have AT&T Uverse. On-screen guide is displaying both Friday matches on LHN.

I have AT&T Uverse too and the on-screen guide shows both on Friday and the sub-regional final on Saturday listed for the correct time slot.
TWC / Spectrum may just be late in changing their guide because if you get LHN you will see the volleyball because they do not have different programming for each provider.

I don't see how Texas doesn't win this region (most favorable of the four). Of the top 4 seeds - Texas has the worst chance of making it to the Elite 8 per Pablo and I assume that they have the worst chance of making the FF. They may have the most favorable region, but the difference isn't nearly as big as people seem to think. Stanford and Washington almost have as good a chance of making the elite 8 as Texas - but then it is likely to become more difficult for them in the regional final.
Unrelated but interesting - This region has more teams that have been to the FF in the past 5 years than any other region. Texas, Kansas, BYU, Oregon, & Michigan.
