Parade of Nations? Am watching it live. Unfortunately, the TV I have at work is very small and black and white, so I could've been wrong. Plus, I'm watching the French Broadcast, so anything is possible. ;D

I saw Togut with the Italian team too! Man, the Greek alphabet is waaayyyy confusing. You'll know what I mean with the Parade of Nations when NBC broadcasts tonight.

Funny because both contemporary Latin and Cyrillic alphabets have their roots in the old Greek writing but nowadays almost nobody can find any resemblance.

Yes! That was Tayyiba Haneef... just after Tom Pappas (decathlon) and Patrick McEnroe (tennis - as a coach/doubles player?) and just before Laura Wilkinson (diving). The duration of the shot was so short... maybe half a second.

I was annoyed to see "Roots" on everyone's clothes.
However, I'm sure they will be the next crazy fad of clothing to wear!

Hey, it was the USOC that approached Roots about the uniforms after they saw what the Canadians were wearing a couple of Olympics ago. I've heard that the Roots uniforms are quite the trading draw at the Olympic Village. What surprised me though is that the backward beret was revived for the US Team. That is just so passe. Oh yeah IB, funny enough that there is actually a Roots Branch in Idaho: ROOTS SUN VALLEY The Shops at the Colonade 330 Walnut Avenue Ketchum, Idaho US Phone: 208-726-2437 ;D
