i'm watching Germany/Cuba right now - Mike Dodd doesn't need to be doing the color at the Olympics. He and the other guy have NO chemistry whatsoever.
The other guy isn't bad - he's the guy that does the Pac-10 games of the week right?

The play-by-play guy is decent at best. Mike Dodd is the most "beige" color commentator ever. I'm sure he's a really nice guy but his voice and delivery could sedate a rabid dog! The two of them together bring NO excitement whatsoever to the match. This is not going to help the TV ratings for indoor V-Ball.

Dodd is pretty bland, isn't he? But you should have heard him when he first started doing broadcasting - he was downright awful.
