(I have gone back and forth on the apostrophe in "Stalls's". I can never remember. You add the " 's" for singular words of one syllable ending in the "s" or "z" sound, right?)

3) Stalls and Smith are "fighting" for the second MB spot. I saw (on tv) Meghan at the state high school all-star match a couple of weeks ago and they didn't seem to go to her too much nor did she appear to have a great match - can't really recall any outstanding blocks. They've also mentioned that Tracy had taken a month or so off from volleyball after over a year with the National Training Team, so it may take her a little while to find herself again. It appears that Elmer may be one of the few "locks" from last years starters.

Can't see Stalls riding the pine. But she's definitely playing MB? There was some talk about playing her as an OH.

4) Saleaumua "wants" to play OH not Libero but obviously will play wherever she can.

5) Faustch is apparently putting up a good "battle" for the RS and that nothing is being handed to Pavan without her earning it.

I love Kelsey, she being a Minnesota kid and all, but she needs to start picking out some seat cushions.

Injuries or rather a lack there of will probably be key to the Huskers success this year.

Well, besides passing, setting, and defense, that is. But I'm sure Cookie will be able to find something that works. I still think they win it all this year.

Stalls will start somewhere. Too much experience not to. There was a lot of talk earlier about Houghtelling hitting outside, but if she's not healthy, it'll be Jen and either Man-Q-So or Rebholz.

Smith is talented, and may be the best athlete on the roster, but too green at this point.
