Looked at the NBC site again, looks like they have the quarterfinal match double listed for airing at both 12:30 am on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The match will be tomorrow at 2:30 pm EST or 1130 am PST. I guess I'll check the schedule tomorrow morning and hope it is updated.

So let me get this right......nobody knows when NBC will be showing the quarterfinal, elimination, match between USA and Brazil? According to the schedule, it is supposed to air before it even occurs. Leave it to NBC......

So I just checked my local NBC affiliate's website to see if I could get some info on olympic schedules and they have that NBC will be broadcasting the Men's match against Brazil at 11:30 tonight on NBC. Tomorrow night at the same time slot they will broadcast the Women's match against Brazil. If anybody else wants to check their local NBC website and confirm this, I'm sure it would help.

They just previewed the late night coverage tonight. No mention of vball, just track and field.
McPeak/Youngs bronze medal match will air live at 12:30

Stupid me actually waited for the late night coverage to show the match tonight. Sigh... (The game has evidently been played.)

Actually, NBC just made the mistake of posting the match a day early. The match hasn't been played yet, it's the final match of the night (8:30pm I think local Athens time), which is roughly early afternoon on the East Coast.
The correct time appears to be the late night slot on Tuesday carrying into the Wednesday early morning on the main NBC affliate stations.

Thanks, you're correct. I think I must have read the men's result as the women's as well.

The match is on TV right now in the Eastern Time Zone and as expected, we're getting the chopped-down version. None of the 1st 2 sets and 5 points to the end of the 3rd set. Guess they're just going to show the almost come-back run. Argh! This is soooo wrong!!! Where the full match? How many of us here like the Sydney broadcasts a little better? I'd like to do a poll.

I would have expected at least showing the last 3 sets, but that's just not meant to be! They cut into the 4th set, at 16 - 14 or something. How much do I hate NBC for their shoddy treatment of VB (both Beach and Indoor)? Guess we're going to get a 2 hour match cut down to 15 - 30 minutes. NBC, you b*sT*rds!!

From what I could tell NBC showed nothing from either of the first two games, started the 3rd game after it was at least half over, and did the same thing with the 4th game.
So far they've shown pretty much all of the 5th game.
Did anyone hear if they mentioned why Logan Tom has spent so much time on the bench in this match?
