CUB ahead 10-5 in the 4th. This one may go 5. 16-11 now. ITA fighting to come back but CUB is holding on - it does not look like they will allow ITA back to the set. |

If the US upsets Brazil all of the teams from Pool A will have been eliminated from the competition?

I fell sorry for Italy but I guess their pool (except for the Brazil match) didn't prepare them for the quarterfinal matches.

Bottom line was Cuba killed the ball when they had to and Italy did not. They had their chances but did not capitalize. You can get away doing this vs lesser teams but not vs the likes of Cuba. |

This is amazing for a team that returns only one starter from the 2000 olympics |
