in terms of when during the broadcast (i.e., 8:30, 8:00, etc...)? If any east coasters could post when it starts, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

It's just in the block sometime between 8PM - Midnight. Surprised there's nothing on NBC either about their 12:35 - 2AM broadcast either. Hmmmm.............

It's now listed in only the 8-9 and 9-10pm blocks, so I'd assume it's an 8:30-9:30 type deal. Must mean they will show the whole match, if it's only 2 sets, or they might just show the last 2, if it's a 3 setter.

Well if you could tell me when it begins on your end, I would really appreciate it.

Will do. The last 3 matches of theirs have all started between 8:15 and 8:30, I wouldn't expect it to change, but I will post when it starts on the east coast. I've avoided spoilers, I can't wait to see the match. Go May and Walsh.

If its anything like the semis last night they'll end up showing about 15 - 20 minutes of the entire match and toward the very end of the allocated block of time.

>-(Gorf)-<[} link=board=general&thread=1093385365&start=6#0 date=1093391424]If its anything like the semis last night they'll end up showing about 15 - 20 minutes of the entire match and toward the very end of the allocated block of time. Oh ye of little faith ;D You're probably right, but since it's the gold medal match and there isn't much really scheduled for tonight, I'm hopeful that NBC will do the right thing and air the entire match. I mean, they aired almost all of the bronze medal match, the least they can do is air the gold medal match.

This is what I found out:
MSNBC will air the Walsh/May match from 2 - 4 AM, pacific time. This is in conjunction with wrestling.
Bravo will air the men's match between Russia and Serbia/Montenegro from 7- 9 AM, PST and according to them this is live.

Looks like it starts between 8:30 and 9:00 eastern and they'll be out before 9:30.
I predict 8:45, 8:50 - 9:20.

This blows. We are gonna get like 5 minutes of vball, meanwhile they are showing every freaking exhibition gymnastics routine. NBC sucks

8:52pm on the East coast, May/Walsh are finally on. NBC joins the match already in progress, 13-8 in game 1, May/Walsh ahead.

They showed most of game 2 as well. They showed the medal ceremony, had an interview with the girls and mentioned they would be on the late night show tonight as well.

Thanks so much for the update! At least they showed the match... unlike the Brazil/US... even though they lost, Games 3 and 4 must have been awesome!
