After CSU jumped out to an early 10-4 lead the play was reasonably back-n-forth with some mini-runs for each team but CSU maintained the lead to win game 1 by 7 at 30-23.
It will be interesting to see how Erin Martin does for the rest of the match after whatever she did to her knee in the middle of the first game.

All of a sudden, my picking CSU at #10 preseason and Minnesota at #13 doesn't look so bad...
