Please find above highlights from Anny Kalogeropoulou, a 2020 6ft MB/OPP from Athens, Greece. Anny is a very motivated and hard-working young lady, who adores volleyball and is a good student, interested in combining higher education and volleyball in the US.
She is taking the SAT in October, and already scored a 6.5/9 in the IELTS. She is ready with transcripts otherwise, and aiming at a high GPA this senior year.

Above are highlights from Sofia Dorouka, 6' OH/OPP, from Thessaloniki, Greece. A few necessary items to keep in mind on Sofia: - She was the youngest player to play most sets in this past season's Women's Volley League in Greece, the top A1 league, with substantial success as a pin hitter. - She continued being an active member on the top league with her women's club, Makedones Axiou, while maintaining a 3.8-3.9 GPA in her senior year of high school, and preparing for the extremely competitive national examinations for entrance into Greek universities. - She has entertained options to play abroad. She has expressed an interest in combining higher education and volleyball at the highest level possible in the US. - She is preparing for the October and December SATs. She feels her English needs a lot of work, and is committed to trying to improve on the language front. Math is strong. - She and her family feel that a January 2020 start date would be best for her, as she has already graduated from Greek HS, considering timing and the potential for a smoother transition academically and athletically. - Her family is of VERY modest means, in one of the poorest areas of Thessaloniki, the second largest urban region of Greece after Athens. Each registration (NCAA, SAT, IELTS, and related procedural steps) is extremely challenging for them, and they are stretched very thin financially. Thus, Sofia will need to pursue a program that will provide the maximum resources allowed, including airfare, Cost of Attendance monthly stipends, etc. Additionally, she has already expressed an interest in working on-campus as permitted and available, to be able to conceivably send money home. Knowing her work ethic and drive, we believe she can get it done in high-level Volleyball and carry a challenging and demanding curriculum successfully. - She is currently collecting more film, however most of the videos she has are from the women's league. She primarily played at the women's level, against older and experienced players, rather than U19 & U17s. All the footage in her highlight above is from that top women's league level, so that is an important point to note when watching her clips.
Considering the above, if there is interest, you may reach out to Sofia directly at: sofiadorouka@gmail.com
Warmest wishes for your upcoming seasons.
Keep loving volleyball!

Above please find highlights from Nefeli Souli, a 6ft+ athletic 2020 S.
Here's a full match as well, from the A2 Greek women's league. Nefeli is #11, black jersey:
Nefeli has shown consistent growth in the game since the first time we saw her in 2017-2018. She's had significant experiences at the club level with A.O. Markopoulo and Amazones V.C. in Athens, Greece. She's played against older, experienced, seasoned players, on the women's leagues, and also has had calls to U16 and U18 junior national teams of Greece. She loves volleyball and is committed to coming to the US in 2020.
She is a good student (~ 3.3-3.5 GPA) and a conscientious young lady. She can lead a team and is very coachable, with a strong work ethic, and solid intangibles overall. She's thinking about several academic options, exercise science, physical education, wants to work in professional volleyball, and she's also considering other options, tourism, hospitality management, and shipping business, always an enticing industry for Greeks.
Feel free to reach out to Nefeli directly:

Above please find highlights from Elisavet Papageorgiou, a 6ft lefty opposite, who intrigued us last year with her heroic and inspiring effort, pushing her team to reach the 3rd place in the national championship for U17s. She was charged with the most difficult tasks in both U17/U19s and the women's club league competitions. She played both OH & OPP. She has a lot more full videos. She's a strong student-athlete, interested in STEM directions, more in science and research. GPA: ~3.8 - SAT: 1170 (retaking in Dec) - TOEFL: 82

With the season almost over, while the transfer portal is blowing up again, and given that recruiting never takes a break, I'm excited to let you know we are hosting our third annual EVE showcase, February 21-March 2, 2020. nomosllc.com/nomos-eve-2020/us-coaches This year our EVE team will be joined by Anne Kordes Much like the last couple of years, we've been preparing intensely for what we aspire to be a fantastic international recruiting experience. This year we have decided to host EVE in three key hubs: Istanbul, Turkey, and Athens/Thessaloniki, Greece. We are particularly excited for our third EVE being the best attended yet, and loaded with differentiating talent from the Balkans and beyond. As always, we are leaving no stone unturned for the most promising talent in the classes of 2020-2024. Quick hits of interest: What: Live evaluation of top-level European talent across several recruiting classes, including regular season and regional playoffs' matches in junior and women's leagues, dedicated EVE workouts and sessions with wash drills and live play allowing for complete assessments, as well as accurate measurements for biometrics, collection of all relevant academic and athletic data, high-quality videos from multiple angles, and prospects' contact information in a comprehensive coaches' recruiting packet. Who: The cream of the crop from Balkan countries (and for 2020 some intriguing surprises), approximately 65-75 players, all of whom have the prerequisites to receive volleyball scholarships in the US. When: Feb 21-Mar 2... BUT keep in mind you can select to catch parts of EVE as your other recruiting commitments allow, and you'll still have access to all our material for the respective portions you register. E.g. you can come with us to begin in Turkey the weekend of Feb 21-23 for EVE sessions in Istanbul, or join us for some live matches (Turkey high school championships) Feb 24-26, and continue with us to Athens and Thessaloniki for the full EVE; you can come to just one portion, two, or all three. Where: Istanbul, Turkey 2/21-26 Athens, Greece 2/27-29 Thessaloniki, Greece 3/1-2 How: nomosllc.com/eve-coaches-registration-form-2020 $2,000 per site, or $5,000 for the full EVE. These fees are all inclusive, but for your overseas airfare and hotel incidentals. Why: It works... nomosllc.com/news/student-athletes-newswww.instagram.com/nomosllc/ www.facebook.com/nomosllc/ You can register now to reserve a spot, and feel comfortable that, other than your overseas airfare and hotel incidentals, we take care of you from the moment you land till the time you depart. We can discuss your itinerary and specific needs, interests, side travel, and anything you would like to do while there after registration. We truly want this to be a memorable experience for you, at the "EVE of Opportunity" for these young ladies. Additionally, below please find links to a) a list of prospects that participated in EVE 2019, all of whom in the 2020s and beyond will be repeat participants, as well as a growing list of confirmations (more players will be added soon), b) the link to order the full EVE 2019 recruiting packet, c) news, information, and articles about players from this college volleyball season, and d) testimonials about Nomos. nomosllc.com/lists-of-prospectsnomosllc.com/eve-coaches-recruiting-packet-2019 nomosllc.com/news/student-athletes-newsnomosllc.com/about-nomos/testimonialsPlease let me, Anne, or Tassos know if you have any questions or clarification points. We're very proud that dozens of international student-athletes received volleyball scholarships in 2018 and 2019 from past involvement with EVE. We're also looking forward to more cases like 2019 Big East tourney MOP & 2018 Big East and East Region RoY/Hon. Mention All-America Efro Alexakou, Cincinnati MB Demy Tziarli (8 blks vs Pitt), Elena Karakasi, Ariadni Kathariou, Elena Baka, Irem Ucar et al. and allowing players like 15 year old, 6'7" Martha Anthouli (EVEs 2018-2019 Most Promising Prospect as voted by attending coaches; CEVs top U17 scorer currently) and starting junior national team members, CEV medalists, and European Championships top stats-performers like Peyman Yardimci, Sabire Karacaova, Sude Hacimustafaoglu, and many other top-notch European players to shine and earn their well-deserved opportunities for higher education and volleyball in the US. Best wishes from St. Louis! Kristin Folkl-Kaburakis

Above are highlights from Dimitra Zacharopoulou. Dimitra is a 5-11 OH/RS from Athens, Greece, on the U16/U17 national team selections and national champion in club and high school competitions in past seasons. She is a truly wonderful and highly motivated young lady, who is respectful yet relentless in the pursuit of life opportunities. She is an As student interested in healthcare and nutrition/dietetics, took the SAT last Saturday, and should be able to do very well in US higher education. Mom is in law enforcement in tough areas of Athens, and has been trying hard to provide for her kids without help from dad. Dimitra will cherish and really earn her scholarship, she is a young lady we'd all love to have around. Her email is:
zacharopouloudimitra@gmail.com
Thanks as always for loving volleyball and providing for young people.

Final Call for EVE 2020, and we couldn't feel happier and more excited about the win-win prospects this year for coaches and deserving kids! Most of us are departing in 10 days, starting with Istanbul and a loaded schedule of talented and motivated young ladies using this opportunity for a life turn. Here's the list once more: nomosllc.com/lists-of-prospects We'll keep updating this list through next week and as EVE gets under way. After Istanbul we get to Athens and then Thessaloniki. We are looking at 105-110 players this year, and we really feel blessed to be able to provide them and recruiting coaches the opportunity to pursue these meaningful and valuable life moments. Coaches' info: nomosllc.com/nomos-eve-2020/us-coaches Thanks for spreading the good word, helping worthy prospects, and for making it a better world through volleyball

Another great day to be alive and love volleyball here in Turkey For those of you early birds or night owls in the US, here's some high-level live volleyball: The beloved bumblebees as Kristin lovingly refers to the Fenerbahce girls (U17 champs) against the always tough and ultra talented Vakifbank (U19 champs, Sultan's League champs in the pro league team and leaders in the standings this year). Most of these players were at EVE 2020. Stay tuned for EVE videos and recruiting packets order links.
