World Series just like the Long Beach events. Volleyball, 4 man, youth & grass roots Vb, music and beach life style all mixed together.
Too bad these promoters cannot forge a plan to grow the sport instead of breaking it into "their pieces".
The idea that LA is working behind the scenes makes you wonder what KW's motives are with boycotts & lawsuits....

Will KWJ be part of this venture with LA? Most definitely! It's already known knowledge that she has jumped off the AVPs sinking ship (announcement coming within the next week) only to get on another sinking 🚢. As far as her motives for the lawsuit? I think she is trying to collect money that is owed to her.

Well, that thud you hear was the other shoe landing. I only just heard about the NVL thing last night, but it makes sense given the rumors floating around.
S%^t is about to get interesting.

What does the NVL bring to Leonard? I get why any promoter wants to work with Armato, but if you are Leonard why encumber yourself with the NVL?

So wait, FIVB is listed among the sponsors. How are they affiliated with NVL/WSOBV and what would that mean, f.ex., for any FIVB events in the U.S.?

Okay, so now I'm intrigued. NVL really could not have picked a better time.
"We have big plans this year and in 2018 and all players are welcome to play in all of our events.” Really can't think of a better mic drop than that one sentence.

I love the "Pandoras Box" Kerri has opened that is being foisted on all beach volleyball players. "If I suffer you all will suffer" is the motto of this self centered player.

Possibly so Leonard doesn't have to start from the ground up, hiring staff etc? The NVL already has much of that in place, saves Leonard some time and money. Also as a huge Eff You to the AVP? But I'm just guessing here.

If true, it's a pure power move intended to clear the competition deck. There will a lot of wreckage strewn around before it's over.

You do crack me up....The lawsuit & contract negotiations are two separate things. Another top Women's player says Quote "Kerri is not driving the contract negotiations" Letting the players play in any tourney they want to is a win win for beach volleyball in the USA....Plain & Simple....

WSOBV listed in FIVB calendar as follows: FIVB Long Beach Presidents Cup OTH 12 - 16 July M USA FIVB Long Beach Presidents Cup OTH 12 - 16 July W USA Interesting that the event doesn't have any star status, but is only marked as OTH (Other?). Meaning of OTH is not clarified at least on that page. www.fivb.org/EN/BeachVolleyball/calendar.asp

So not really a new tour but a merge. I really like the NVL, the AVP has the better players but the NVL has by far the better tour personality. 1 - the prize difference between the 2 tours is only like $150k now. If this can grow successfully AVP could be in real trouble if it sticks by it's rulings. 2 - it's interesting to hear how the players differ. I would like to know who's making the comments about how Sun is in his right with the AVP and he respects that and isn't concerned with the limited opportunities for Beach Volleyball players.

Letting the players play in any tourney they want to is a win win for beach volleyball in the USA....Plain & Simple.... Please clear this up for me. Where will the esteemed MS Walsh playing this summer? FIVB? AVP? NVL? All of the above? None of the above? Where will her hubby play?
