Based mostly on Prepvolleyball's Senior Aces list, I would say that Stanford, Penn St., and Minnesota have the year's best recruiting classes followed by Purdue, UCLA, Nebraska, and USC. Looks like the Pac 10 and Big 10 win again.

Only the PAC 10 has been able to do anything with these new recruits.

In my opinion more a reflection of the true calibre of the recruits(despite the prognostications of the recruiters) than it is of the coaches, etc. Also other factors such as health, durability, etc. We all know that just because they are a Fab 50, Top 100 etc. doesn't mean that they are a guaranteed "hit" in college. A little luck involved in all of this as well, and that will be even more evident as we see kids who are just entering the 10th grade making verbal commitments to big time programs who have apparently offered them full scholarships, right?

I like Long Beach State's class as well....big, athletic players, with lots of upside potential.

I like Florida's class of 2, #5 Kelsey Bowers and #55 Kristina Johnson, both 6'2" MB's, though I'd imagine one of them will make a move to OH.
