Surprisingly easy affair for San Diego, 30-17, 30-16, 30-24, considering they went the distance last night. No letdown for them. I thought it'd be closer than this, the first two games were blowouts. For the Toreros, Devon Forster again leads the way with 19 kills, at a .444 clip, making her case for HAL tourney mvp. AZ hit only .139 for the match. I guess they're really hurting without Kim. Judging by the stats, doesn't appear Ladd or Abernathy has improved from last season. Along with Glass, that was supposed to be the best recruiting class in ages. Just goes to show, what you do before college means nothing.

I seems to me that Arizona has spent too much time in keeping Kim Glass in the limelight and has not concentrated on anyone else. Kim's out with an injury and now what are you going to do. Everytime you see an article on line it is about Kim. If I were the rest of the team I would be getting sick of it. How about trying to build your entire team up besides just one person. Give the rest of the guys a chance to shine too. Enough said.

I wish Kim Glass could play in the Arizona/UH match.

San Diego is legit! Lots of talent on this team, and along with the excellent coaching that they have been getting the past several years it seems to be paying off....this team is for real this year....they are gonna put a hurt on a lot of folks I think.

Agreed. They've got a lot of offense and also defense (few teams can out-dig Hawaii). Forster is automatic. Their opposite, Hurst, can bang big time. And the Wazzu transfer, Carlson, just needs to get it going. She's struggled, but she's also looked good putting the ball away.
Their offense is high-power, if they could have cut down their hitting errors, they would have gotten the W against Hawaii the other night.
