With the 9th pick in the 2017 VolleyTalk Fantasy Volleyball draft, vballfreak808 selects Melanie Crow, outside hitter from the University of Missouri. HawaiiVB is on the clock. A reminder to all that if you think you might be unavailable for an upcoming pick, you can send me your top 2 or 3 names and I'll submit your top remaining player when it's your turn.

Kathryn Plummer So. OH/Setter Stanford So I argued last year that any position listed on the school roster should count be an eligible position for that player, but was unanimously overruled. To keep things consistent from last year, Plummer will only count against your OH minimum. Not setter.

Lily Johnson, MIssouri State. (I think I'm good for that pick with her conference, but if not, I can change) wolfdog is up after me you need to change. Missouri Valley Conference is not eligible. Posted here for reference Y ou will select 12 players. You are required to have (at a minimum):
4 outsides/opposites 3 middles 2 setters 2 liberos 1 freshman (can be a redshirt if she played in zero sets last year). **If an athlete plays multiple positions, she counts toward the minimum of both positions.
Players from the following conferences are eligible: Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, ACC, SEC, Big East, WCC, Big West, American, Mountain West.

Not setter. so...just for clarification, we are counting position based on last year's roster placement? will rosters be deemed ineligible if that positions changes throughout the year. For example, say I drafted a player that played MB last year, but switches to OH/OPP sometime this year, does that then make my roster ineligible? or say a player like Bates at Wisconsin who was L last year, but may very well play OH this season...or Sponcil who was an OH last year but may transition to L this year at UCLA.

I would have grabbed her before you could retain her rights (I voted to keep MVC) I didn't vote, but I would have voted to keep MVC I would've voted to boot American but no one else had and I didn't want to lose Big East/Big West so I voted to get rid of MVC.
