It's not a bad start but what we really need are more personalities on the court, Reid isn't exactly the guy for that.

Personally I think his approach sucks practically everything fun out of the sport. But I do love to watch him hit the crap out of the ball.

I love how the guy has free-flowing cash to buy a $$$ truck and pay all these people to serve him, the antithesis of average volleyball player, totally unrelatable to average fan.

Personally I think his approach sucks practically everything fun out of the sport. But I do love to watch him hit the crap out of the ball. I love how the guy has free-flowing cash to buy a $$$ truck and pay all these people to serve him, the antithesis of average volleyball player, totally unrelatable to average fan. People fawn over millionaire athletes all the time...they may not be "relatable" but they can still draw interest to their respective sports. Either way, it's better than nothing being done to attempt to create a larger fan base.

Its basically Reid saying, I want to go to the Olympics, I hired some coaches, meet them. No one said or did anything interesting, no fun blooper reels of Reid at the beginning, no stories of improved results.
