Curious if anyone has any statistics or data on how much the roster changes when a new coach comes in? What is the typical process a (good) coach would undertake coming into their new role? (Asking for a friend

Tom is fine at Akron.
Grand Canyon Staff is only in second year (I think), so he is fine also.

Conferences bottom tier: Big East: Depaul, Georgetown AAC: UConn, Tulane, Memphis ACC: BC, Virginia, Clemson, Virginia Tech SEC: Tennessee, TX A&M, MS St, South Carolina B10: Northwester, Rutgers, Indiana B12: Tx Tech, TCU, Oklahoma, KS St Pac 10: WS St, Arizona, Az St CUSA: FIU, LA Tech, MTSU Sun Belt: Georgia Southern, GA State, ULM Southern: WCU, Mercer, Citadel Southland: Lamar, Nichols, Southeastern LA WAC: Grand Canyon, Chicago St Big South: Charleston Southern, Presbyterian, Gardner-Webb MAC: Kent St, Akron Any changes likely with any of these schools listed above?? Virginia, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Oregon State, Arizona State, Mercer, all first year coaches. TCU is coming off one of its best years, ever. Not to mention the recruiting horizon now means that often time much of your first two classes are still the kids the previous staff found and identified. There are certainly signs that it isn't going to work but a fair shot still hast to be 4-5 years.

They are lucky to have a warm body in that job. They've beaten some teams above then as well. The only way they will fire the coach is if the state of Illinois completely defunds the school.

Northwestern, Shane's in his second year, so I doubt they're in danger. There is no current danger at Northwestern, but the team is getting worse not better under the new staff.

True...plus I believe Tom was hired later in the Spring so that 1st year was practically a toss away, recruiting wise.

Although BC is in a power 5 conference... they are just about as poor as rutgers if not worse!!! They dont have two full time pay assistant coaches, their AD wont let them travel anywhere in preseason that's not driving distance. they clearly do not care about volleyball there. they would never fire him.

BC is the worst athletic department in all of the power 5 conferences. There are years when they can’t win a basketball or football game. The AD isn’t losing sleep over the volleyball program.

Memphis? 0-11 in conference. Always thought they could be a good competitive program...
