Last time I checked, Rutgers still isn't fully-funded. If that'a true, what are they doing in the BIG? Worst. Conference. Addition. Ever. The addition of Rutgers to the B1G was never about bringing in competitive sports teams. It was about having access to the NYC TV Market (which is largely overestimated with the RU fanbase) for the rest of the conference.

All of those PAC-teams are safe.

Tennessee and TAMU are fine. South Carolina already fired the head coach so they're looking for a new, permanent one anyway. Mississippi State had one of its better years last year, so I don't know what will happen there.

In 11 1/2 years Georgetown is 115/220 Overall and 42/137 in BE. I don't get it!! Should have been gone before now!

Northwestern, Shane's in his second year, so I doubt they're in danger.

I fully believe that IU is limited by their subpar B10 facilities, but will things magically change when a new arena is constructed? I'm not so sure. How long does Dunbar get? They barely beat Rutgers.

I haven't heard if they have committed more scholarship money within the last couple years. There are some programs in the Big East and ACC that you would expect to be solid, but the volleyball funding is significantly below the bulk of the conference. Administration knows that if they are only being funded to be competitive with one other team at the bottom that is what they are going to get. Why fire a coach when you aren't giving them the resources that they have to compete against?

As far as the MAC goes, yes Kent St is having an unexpectedly bad year, but they are not a traditional bottom tier team. Akron, yes. Year 3 for their staff and no real progress. EMU is in a similar boat. They both played very weak nonconference schedules to get some wins but lost a couple in there as well. Maybe a new AD saves her job for a while at EMU. BG was in that bottom tier and many thought they would return to that this year after a good 2016 but somehow they are doing incredibly well so kudos to their staff. CMU is only in year 2 with their staff so no movement there but they need to improve as well. Toledo is up and down and is the only school besides Akron who could maybe make a change but no idea where he is in his contract. I'd say everybody else is pretty safe where they are.

Fordham?
Also as stated earlier Rutgers is not on an level playing field yet due to the arrangement with the $$$.
Didn't BC and Va Tech make changes on their staffs last couple of years?

Akron needs to realize that their program has actually declined quickly in the past three years. Top players have transferred out, the record speaks for itself, recruits decommitting, along with other issues--none of which happened prior to the last three years. A MAC record of 7-37 and an overall record of 22-59 with a very weak schedule should certainly give the administration a clue that they didn't help the program when they cleaned house last time and brought in a new staff. Kent State's staff will be safe and totally fine. They have had a miserable year, but that has not been the norm under their current staff.

I would bet on Tom to figure things out at Akron.
