Nicholls St. has fired their head coach. Season record 4-24, 2-14 in the Southland Conference.

I see you are editing. Tennessee Tech, Akron and Incarnate Word are all open seats. You have Louisiana Tech and Fresno St. in your list twice.
Cal St. Bakersfield is in the NCAA Tournament for the 2nd time in Melo's tenure. Doubt her seat is warm.

I don't think there is anything remotely to the Hot seat for the Copbelli's. They lost three starters at dominant positions to begin this season with Aiple medical Reasor injury (barely played) and Babers (graduation). Difficult to replace with a freshman setter with the passing we have had this season. Too many double blocks against the outsides to hit efficiently. That said I agree with southie in that we haven't recruited to the level TAMU should in Texas. We get one player a year in the top 30 or so and this past season no one in top 80 but three in top 100. None in coming class are top 100. This is what is the problem when Texas resides 90 miles away and the NCAA wants to keep teams local. We will likely play in Austin every year unless we host (2015). We wont be able to hire a top level coach when the Corbelli's retire/fired because the facilities are sub par. They usually do more with less sans this year, but the question becomes why less in terms of recruiting? They should haul in top 15 classes based upon geography alone but get that only probably every three years.
next year will be much the same IMO unless passing and middle setter connection improve drastically. The passing was BAD the setting of any middle was BAD times 10.

TTU is listed on the NCAA career market page. The job was mentioned a couple of times on the jobs thread as well.

Indiana. 1-18 only win vs Rutgers and scheduled no one in preseason. Did they graduate everyone? Am I missing something ?

I thought I read last year or the year before that she has some sort of guardian angel that will keep her at Indiana as long as she wants to stay. And really, how much does Indiana care about volleyball?

My question is whether things are heating up for Geoff Carlston at tOSU. It’s been a pretty catastrophic season, with completely unpredictable external factors ranging from hurricanes to freak injuries that have conspired to give the Buckeyes their worst record in a while. Add in assistant coach turnover and the recruiting issues with the 2018 class... does the AD run out of patience?
For the record, I enjoy Geoff and want him to stay at tOSU. He’s one of my favorite coaches to watch on the sideline. His team has been a sweet sixteen team for years, no small feat in the Big Ten. And he can’t control the weather.

Rick Nold? Seven years now without an NCAA tournament appearance (assuming they don't get in tonight). By all accounts, seems like a quality person but coaches getting by because the players are having a good experience is not the typical SEC mindset.
