South Carolina signed "a pair of high-profile graduate transfers Cadie Bates (6-2) from Duke and Lydia Dimke (6-3) from Creighton, with both student-athletes enrolling in January to compete immediately for the 2018 spring season. (...) Bates will have two seasons of eligibility at South Carolina, Dimke will have just the upcoming 2018 season." www.gamecocksonline.com/sports/w-svolley/spec-rel/111017aad.htmlHead coach Moritz Moritz: "Cadie and Lydia have been major contributors at high-level programs, and we're excited to bring their physical skill set and incredible leadership qualities to our program. Both of these young women should bring an instant impact to our program's culture as well as our skill level on the sand." ------------------------------- TCU signs New Mexico graduate transfer Cassie House (6-3), she will enroll in school in January. www.gofrogs.com/sports/w-svolley/spec-rel/111017aac.htmlHead coach Hector Gutierrez: "Cassie brings experience and physicality. She is 6-3 and is really strong. She is going to have a really important role with the team because we need to use her physicality and potential as a blocker."

Tulane and Cal had one of the better recruiting classes these last few years. I wouldn't be surprised if they make the championship bracket.
Also, Taylor Jarzombek with GCU has more grit than any beach player I've seen. She going to take down some big teams. A role model to many girls who get told year after year they are too short to play college.

DiG Beach Volleyball Magazine Cal Poly head coach Todd Rogers recently hired Allie Wheeler (USC Alum) as a volunteer assistant coach. "She was at a premiere program, and we`re trying to move up to that level. There`s a reason USC is good besides just having top athletes. I want her to bring that to Cal Poly," said Olympic gold medalist Todd Rogers. Allie Wheeler: "So stoked and grateful to be featured in the centerfold of DiG Magazine for their November issue! As a kid, I grew up worshiping this magazine and reading about all things volleyball..." http://instagram.com/p/Bba-ryfF20J

Stetson Completes Productive Fall Season - www.gohatters.com/news/2017/11/13/beach-volleyball-completes-productive-fall-season.aspx"It was the first fall that head coach Kristina Hernandez and her staff could devote their attention entirely to beach training, as the Stetson indoor and beach programs were officially "separated" last December. (...) Stetson also benefited from more time training on the courts than in past years, frequently utilizing most of the permitted 20 hours a week of practice. (...) Stetson took full advantage of the new NCAA regulation allowing beach programs to participate in multiple outside competitions [on four dates] in the fall." Head coach Kristina Hernandez: "Our goal for the fall was to really look at all the options we have. Even if we really liked a pair one weekend, we still wanted to change it up and make sure we look at all our different options and see how they are in a competitive phase." Hernandez says the team came out of the fall with three solid pairs that will likely stay together come the spring. Sunniva Helland-Hansen and Carly Perales "played in a 1-seed pool in Tavares with FSU and FAU and they only lost one set."
