I'd put Troy Field on that list ahead of most, that guy was killing everyone at the Huntington Halloween 4s tourney. Kid has insane hops I tell you. Is he big? Can't find much info on him. Hasn't played much AVP. He qualified at Manhattan, blocked for his team. I'd say he's 6'4" or so but vertical is nuts. Total athlete, like young Rosie in athleticism. Mark my words, he'll be a star if goes all in.

He also has won several CBVAs recently, I'll be shocked if everyone doesn't know his name in a few years.

Cook, Brunsting, Clemens, Friend, Kessel, B. Miller are some young players that USAV should be helping to support. There are players out there, but they are scattered. Need more people like Adam Roberts who can help support players while they are young. I'd put Troy Field on that list ahead of most, that guy was killing everyone at the Huntington Halloween 4s tourney. Kid has insane hops I tell you. Not specifically about Troy Field (as I've seen some of his videos online, he definitely has some skills), but it'd be real easy to use a stud athlete to hit and block in 4's. However, if they don't have the ball control, main draw AVP doubles just isn't happening.

Agreed tho he made Manhattan MD and has won those CBVAs, ball control obviously not gonna be perfected but clearly good enough to win against solid competition. I see him blocking or playing defense, could split block easily.
