Ok, I've got something important to add.
I brought Marriott Vacations Worldwide to volleyballmag.com for this sponsorship.
We are the timeshare side of Marriott Hotels. I'm trying to get them involved with some sponsorship of Beach volleyball.
Please do me and the future of the sport (because it takes companies like mine) go to volleyballmag.com and click on the link to Marriott rentals and look around. BTW, if you are going someplace with a group, we should be options for your stay, we have great 2 & 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 10 ppl.
Everyone can help bring new sponsors to the sport by showing loyalty to the brands that back the sport.
And if you see it on Facebook, please share it, this could directly lead to more money for the sport.
thanks,
Jim

This was an excellent first episode and a fascinating interview with Tri Bourne on his health. After hearing Tri tell his story, it's really hard to see a scenario where he returns to an elite level of play anytime soon, if ever. Although he remains optimistic, he also acknowledges that the drug therapy he's been on for most of the year isn't working consistently enough for him even to begin training again. He said he is now looking into alternative treatments such as naturopathy. He also mentioned that he's on a medical plan provided by USAV, but I wonder how long USAV will continue to support him. I love that he's not giving up, though. I'm glad that he's also exploring media and possible coaching opportunities in the sport as a fall back plan.
