So UMBC, Youngstown, Wright State, South Carolina and Oregon, and it isn't even Thanksgiving yet.
Anybody getting the feeling this is going to be a big year?

Not to twist the dagger, but when you click on the coaches at their site and a page comes up that says, 'Something Went Wrong,' that's sort of funny.

My guess is the salary will be around $110-120,000. Job Posting puts it at "Compensation grade: band 52" and when you google the pay bands at NYU, 52 is the lowest of 5 tiers, and a job typical of band 52 is "Analyst." Even charging $65k per year, if NYU is paying $110,000 to every analyst and secretary they aren't going to stay in business long. EADA lists the average salary for a head coach of a women's team at $56,851. The Fencing coach is part-time but one part time position isn't dropping the average by 50%. Not outlandish. Cowie made $68,000 in 2000 and Caesar made $73,000 in 2002. With inflation, $110,000 is certainly in line.

I'm not saying they won't, but at the lowest salary band, I think the candidate is going to have to have something special in their resume to get that kind of salary.

Has nothing to do with what livable wage is in New York, but rather what the conference average is based off of.
