Do you want the names in advance of the 6/1 "meeting"? Or just as long as you have them June 1 or before, we are okay?

If everyone is okay with the Nomination procedure as is, you do nothing. We just go on with our lives without worrying about our June 1, 2020 meeting. However, the meeting after that, which is September 1, 2020, will actually require active participation. Preview: we're going to "practice" flex voting just so you can prove to me you know what "flex voting" is. This will require everyone to submit something to me. I'll provide details later. Note to azvb: Flex voting is easy as ABC and 123. That remains to be seen š

What if, unlikely as it seems, we all give you the same five names? It's unlikely to be a problem because you guys will submit names gradually, not all at once. And I'm starting off the process with a starter kit of names so that you can refer to it when submitting your own names. I mean, why would you want to submit a name already on the list? But if it happens, I personally think that'll be great because we'll have a list of approximately 24-29 names, from which we'll immediately vote for All-VT. (My starter kit will have 24 names, as a precaution.) Since all but you, Wolfgang, are in a pm together, it's highly likely we will punk you and submit the same fab five nominees.

Because, I gotta tell you, my life sucks crayon shavings.

Two questions:
What's "flex voting"?
What's "voting"?
How many questions are we allowed?

Also, I need an oil change. Any recommendations re viscosity and/or temp? You need to change your own oil. I taught my then-12 year old daughter how to do this. It's very simple. I wanted her to be self-reliant on everything instead of always relying on her future husband. You need to get her future husband to help you when you get to be an old fart! My son in law is very helpful!š

Also, I need an oil change. Any recommendations re viscosity and/or temp? You need to consider using synthetic oil when you get your oil changed; it coast a little more, but you also go from 3000 miles between a change to 5000 miles in most cases. I've done the cost / benefit analysis and even if you only get one change a year it is worth it.

But just a $1 more. Oh, wait. I read that wrong. Full synthetic is $15 OFF, so I assume it does cost more. Usually I just put water in there, with some food coloring.

Memo #5: A 3-month Heads-Up Noticeblah blah blah So, come December 2020, when it's time to submit your votes for All-VT Awards, you have the option to do this as well. For example, last year, I may have voted as follows (for the Top 6): ilikecorn trojansc bluepenquin vbprisoner tomclen bigwestfan2 So, if I had to break this down into points (where 1st place=24 pts), I'd distribute my points as follows: ilikecorn 24 trojansc 20 blupenquin 20 vbprisoner 18 tomclen 15 bigwestfan2 15 I would NOT distribute my points as follows: ilikecorn 24 trojansc 23 blupenquin 22 vbprisoner 21 tomclen 20 bigwestfan2 19 blah blah blah Sincerely, Wolfgang What the hell??

Synthetic is the way to go but honestly, I don't think it really matters re. the life of your vehicle or even frequency of oil change. I go 7,000 miles between oil changes. It was. But even my rhetorical question wasn't answered.
