What's your point? If this is you simply trying to be your sometimes clever self, you failed. The same sentiment could be said of every state in the country or any place on the planet. SOMETIMES clever??!?! Here I thought you photoshopped that image to be clever (mean?). Now I see it's a real campaign. Yikes.

Please tell me The Onion is going out of business and as it’s last act of defiant glory, it has infiltrated the State of Nebraska

Every birdseye view of every location looks great.
There's a video of the Bay Area (Northern California) from above that showcases, among other cities, San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, etc, accompanied by lots and lots of classical music. It was shown on PBS a few years ago. The video even shows Redwood City. If anyone has ever been to Redwood City, you know it's a dump. But from above, the place looks like the Garden of Eden.

Nicklin's already made some sets that have blown me away, but the passing hasn't been there much of the time to make a great set, and in addition teams are trying to serve her so Kenzie or someone else has to make the set. If Hames returns a serve (it's happened three times so far this season) it is totally by happenstance, not because the other team had a strategy of serving her. Plays in transition (particularly free balls from the other team) are a different matter. Many of those plays likely do involve a deliberate strategy of making Hames take the first contact, but it's definitely not happening on serve receive. I stand corrected. I was going completely off memory so I must have been remembering the in transition digs which, since there have been so many this season - 201 of 204 per your official stats - I clearly overstated when I offered that teams may be trying to serve her. Thank you Freeball.

Hey, I was just trying to have a little fun.
I think it's an interesting marketing strategy, kind of quirky and cute - and it may end up being quite successful.
Probably should have started it over in Off the Net, however. My bad.

NPR also mentioned another promotion suggested is "Nebraska, with fewer storm surges." But as you say, it probably should be in Off the Net.

Facts, not fun, but facts:
Nebraska hit their all time low in the John Cook era tonight hitting % wise, which began in 2000. If they are unable to top Minnesota tomorrow, it will be the first time since 1981 that they have lost 4 of 5 games. Here’s to hoping Sweet is out of her slump, Foecke and Sun do what their capable of, Stivrins shines like the AA she could be, Hames hits her spots, and Schwarzenbach owns the net. Maloney just needs to be Maloney. And Densberger just needs to not shank.
I understand we’re a very spoiled fan base, but this is hurting. We need this win.

Nebraska is simply not improving at all. I'm not seeing any improvement over the past 7 matches. I was expecting some marginal contributions from each player to clean up as the season went on, but not so much.

Sun, as well, was better passing. Also, I think Maloney has gone to another level.

Maloney has been really good but our hitters needs to terminate the balls more.
