So the million dollar question is, does little sister step in and takes over where Huskey left off or does she redshirt her first year. I would guess no, only because it would just be up to Allie to set the entire season and if she gets injured or struggles, then they wouldn’t have a backup. My guess is they’ll go with a 5-1 with Allie, with Marlie coming in to set toward the end of blowout sets/matches. But with no Alhassan they will need some frontline blocking help don't you think? I think Marlie could help with that.

I am curious to see how this all goes down. 6-2 with both sisters setting across the back row. Means she doesn’t bench a senior, and the freshman gets valuable court time. If Mary can always switch to a 5-1 in flight. RS subs would be Warner and either Mia (likely) or maybe Taelor, especially if she is with Kramer in the front row for 2 rotations. OH would be Hall, Hammons and Greer. MB would be King and Kramer (Taelor on immediate backup) L is Gregory RS sub for defense if they move to a 5-1. Otherwise a DS will serve for the other middle when it suits.

But in the 5-2 this year, she had a ton of double contacts. Maybe she struggled to find her rhythm at times, I'm not sure. But Monserez, Kramer and Gregory (with the help of Hall), will be expected to lead the team this year. A lot rides on their ability to be an emotional presence when times get tough and also go out and make a play when needed. We will learn a lot about this team when they head to Nebraska to start the season; and we'll learn even more with how they end SEC play.

Will Hall and Dooley play in those matches? We surely do hope so. Otherwise, why did they enroll early?
