Happy new year to the volley-ball community ! My name is Marie-Pierre (Mapie) Bakima and I am a former NJCAA/NCAA volley-ball player from France. I have just launched a website that helps international student-athletes play the sport they love while studying in college with a scholarship. A lot of talented volley-ball players are currently interested about playing in the NCAA, NJCAA or NAIA. So if you are looking for a position player in particular, please feel free to email me at contact@gostudentathleteusa.com or fill out this form at www.gostudentathleteusa.com/coaches/Thank you and happy holidays ! While I welcome players from outside our country, but with the limited scholarships available, I would hope that any scholarships that go to out of country players were very, very few and far between.

If a kid is still finishing up puberty and has not filled out yet he absolutely can add 20#+ muscle and 6" to vertex with hard work in the weight room, plyos and interval training if he hasn't already done that. If he is touching 10-10 I am pretty sure there is potential.

My son added 2 inches of growth and since he played baseball most of his time, working out geared to volleyball has added a decent amount to his vertical. I would think he is touching at least 5 inches higher than from HS.

Just an observation, but you are going the wrong direction in terms of height. You started out a few years ago recommending a 6'5" MB, to a 6'3" OH/MB/OPP combo player, to a 6'2" OH, to a 5'11" setter. Most high level coaches are going to want much taller athletes than that. Unless of course you are just trying to send kids and make money, then by all means continue. There is a level for everyone nowadays.
