Hawaii wins the Big West Championship, beating LBSU 4-1. Beach ran out of gas after a VERY emotional win against Cal Poly, but played Hawaii very tough. Hopefully they'll get another chance in Alabama!

I am confusion...
Long Beach AND Cal Poly got screwed by the committee...
Is it deja vu all over again for the Big West...
LSU was apparently the at-large bid along with USC...
FIU got in as one of the 3 East Bids...
Yeah, still don't get it...

Unbelievable! Big West is arguably the best conference in beach volleyball with three teams in top 6! Only one got seeded is hard to believe. I certainly disagree that FIU and LSU were far better than Cal Poly or Long Beach. Another manipulation by the committee to āGrow the gameā much like how they did to Hawaii in menās volleyball. What a wild turn of events! Is this a strategy to make the sport interesting and controversial??
