Having some problems with the VB Mag Forum.
When will brackets come out for the Big Junior Tourney this next weekend? Over 64 teams are entered in the 18's. Should be some good Vball.
Any help

Pool play is posted for all the age groups. Should be some interesting action and really one of the last times for these players to showcase themselves in a big tourney situation.
I'm sure College coaches want to get a final look before they go into the second rounds of signing.
Who will finish in the top ten?

At the mid point these are the top ten Junior 18 teams in the nation. 1. SCVC 18 2. Central Cal 18 3. Adversity 18 4. Balboa Bay 18 5. Sports Performance 18 6. LBC 18 (When healthy) 7. Surf City 18 8. Premier 18 9. Eden 18 10. North Shore/Pace/Santa Monica
PSU event is this weekend 64 teams. 5 top canadians, 2 SPRI teams, Premier, Eden, Pace, RVC, LI, NorthCoast, Damons, Coastal, and Tidewater are the top seeds. Should be one of the best and deepest tourneys outside of the January Cal invite.
My predictions for top 5 in no order scarborough Juniors Canada Spri's 2nd team Eden 18 Bronte Beach Canada Premier

Where did these rankings come from? Balboa easily beat SCVC 2-0 in the MLK. Their matches w/ Central Cal and LBC were 3 game wars. And whats this "LBC when healthy?" Didn't they still have more D-1 athletes on the floor even w/ Tanner out? There was nothing wrong w/ Klosterman in the balboa match. Lusero just got outcoached, thats all.

Based on what I 've heard and read i must adjust ! Eden beat RVC, avery good team in te PSU Open in a monster tourney. The Sport Performance teams which did so well and made it to Semis and finals of Wisconsin got exposed and rough up at PSU. Adversity has only beaten teams fron teh Midwest, yes they have won every tourney but they haven't travelled much....which means they have to prove more....and the midwest is not as deep as people thought. Pace which was missing 2 starters at Wisconsin got into the final eight there made it to the semis at PSU and it was a tougher tourney. Premier does not have the capacity to play any better....their learning and athletic curve is extended. they are good and win ugly but many don't think that they have the capacity to go to the next level.
So here goes:
1. Central Cal 18 2. Balboa Bay 18 3. SCVC 18 4. LBC 18 5. Adversity 18 6. Eden 18 7. Surf City 18 8. Premier 18 9. RVC 18 10.North Shore/Pace

Hey
The SPVB teams didn't get "Roughed Up" as you said. The Mizuno team lost a pool play match that they normally would have won, but were missing their best OH and it cost them 2 close games. Then they lost to Eden in the Pre-Quarters and Eden went on to WIN the tourney.
The Runbird team split their games vs. Pace in pool, but Pace came out in 1st due to a +3 in point differential. Then the Rinbirds were beaten by RVC who came in 2nd in Pre-Quarters. Pace tied for 3rd.
So to say they got roughed up is a bit overstating things, but they DEFINATELY didn't have their best tourney and RVC and Eden were both very solid teams who could make a run at a medal at JO's.

True true.....sometimes we have to remember who was knocked out by whom. Even though this tourney had a lot of room as so many seemed to advance to the Gold it looks like the SPRI teams ran in to two very determined teams.
But you could also find this situations in most every tourney. Regardless it sounded like an Excellent tourney and well run. It is also nice to see some Eastern teams who can make a push for a medal this year as the door out west is not even close to being shut.

The Results are: 18s
1- Adversity 2- SPVB 18-Mizuno 3- Flyers 3- SPVB 18-Runbird 5- St. Louis High Performance 5- North Shore Milwaukee 5- Premier 5- North Coast
With results like these is is clear that adversity is in a league of their own in the midwest.
Also considering that Premier is not getting better and the SPVB teams didn't do that well at PSU the midwest is not as strong as we all thought.
With the Flyers team taking a third (and they are not Strong) in Chicago it will make for an interesting seeding procedure at Nationals. Tournament wins and travel are a major factor. Although Adversity has not travelled at all to the West or the East they still have won quite a few and this will help.
My ranking would be this: 1. Balboa Bay 18 2. Central Cal 18 3. SCVC 18 4. Adversity 18 5. LBC 18 6. Eden 18 7. Surf City 18 8. RVC 18 9. Santa Monica 18 10.Seaside 18 /Premier/SPVB 18
Are the California players going to be jumping ship and switching teams like they have in the past.....I hear rumors.
