SCHOOL CONF OVERALL UCF 8-0 17-3 Cincinnati 8-0 18-4 Tulsa 6-2 14-6 Wichita State 4-4 9-10 ECU 4-4 12-7 Tulane 4-4 16-7 SMU 4-4 7-11 UConn 3-5 11-10 USF 3-5 14-7 Memphis 2-6 9-11 Temple 2-6 5-15 Houston 0-8 13-10 Basically at the half way mark. Cinci is dominate. UCF is doing well. Nice battle between WSU and SMU but both teams down. The 2 teams I said months ago that would be a surprise was Tulsa and Tulane. I would reverse that to say, "UCF is dominant. Cincy is playing well." I will say that now!! Big big win for UCF. Great win by Houston!. And 2 road sweeps for Tulane. USF with good win also.

Incredible - Wichita State falls in 5 at Houston. Houston was 0-8 in conf. Shockers now 9-11 on fhe year. They still have RPI potential to turn it around Best left-side, middle and setter are out, the setter for the season. Team leadership seems to be an issue. The turnaround needs to come very quickly.

Oct 24th STANDINGS UPDATE:
Standings
SCHOOL CONF OVERALL UCF 9-0 18-3 Cincinnati 8-1 18-5 Tulsa 6-3 14-7 Tulane 5-4 17-7 SMU 5-4 8-11 Wichita State 4-5 9-11 USF 4-5 15-7 ECU 4-5 12-8 Memphis 3-6 10-11 UConn 3-6 11-11 Temple 2-7 5-16 Houston 1-8 14-10
At the halfway mark there is finally a small bit of separation. UCF gets the W and moves to #1 but I don’t think they stay there contrary to pop opinion. Tulsa and Tulane continue to surprise. Major battle for 3-5th place.

Big weekend of matches in the AAC. #12 Houston nearly knocks off #1 UCF in 5 sets. Tulane takes it to Cinci and wins in 4. Memphis has a big win for them over ECU 21-19 in the 5th

Temple plays UCF really tight but loses 31-29 in the 4th. UCF has pulled out some close matches. UConn with an upset win over USF. Memphis almost upset SMU in 5. SMU is undefeated at home in conference and they face a red hot Tulane team that has won their last 8 in a row.

Cinci handles Tulsa pretty easily in a sweep. Tulane hands it to SMU in a sweep on the road. It will be interesting to see how many bids the AAC gets this year.
UCF is 13-0 (23-3) Cinci is 11-2 (21-6) Tulane is 9-4 (21-7) (with a win over Cinci)

Big weekend in the AAC. UCF host Cincinnati. This would clinch the conference title for UCF. I’m still not convinced UCF is the best team. They have pulled out several really close matches. Which is good but not dominate performances. I pick Cinci in this one. Tulsa and SMU have a big match. The hottest team in the league is Tulane with 9 wins in a row. The way they beat Cinci showed they could possibly be the best team in the league. If they drop a match though it will wreck their ncaa hopes. WSU vs UH. Any loss wrecks WSU chances as well but I’m not sure they have the resume anyway. UH plays everyone tough.

Some really close matches in the AAC except 1. Close 5 setters between USF over ECU. UH over WSU. UCF over Cinci. SMU over Tulsa. UConn over Memphis.
The only match not close was Tulane over Temple. Tulane held yet another team under .170 hitting. And they hit .333 The Green Wave playing the best ball over October and November. Not dropping a match.
Will these 2 bad losses by Tulsa and WSU knock them out of ncaa? I’m afraid so.
